For More Details: Camp Wamatochick
“Wamatochick” is a Native American word meaning “Place of Friends”. It is situated in the heart of Prescott National Forest, about 2 hours north of Phoenix at an altitude of 6500 feet. We will be in the heart of a very tranquil pine forest with lots of nature all around us, and we still be staying in heated log cabins with a mixture of bunk beds, single and queen beds. It has been renovated since our last visit 5 years ago, so now we will have access to:
· Heated bathrooms;
· A heated meditation/dining hall with kitchens and snack bar;
· A dedicated fire pit for outside havan;
· An ice cream bar(which is new);
· A gift shop that sells supplies, sodas, candies, souvenirs, etc (which is new)
· A creek with running water;
· Access to various sports and games;
· An art ramada.
