Sahaja Yoga Disclaimer

§ I understand that the 2025 Birthday Puja at Camp Wamatochick is the place for a peaceful spiritual gathering hosted by Vishwa Nirmala Dharma (VND) and in accordance with protocols of conduct and behavior established by the teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi.
§ I understand that Vishwa Nirmala Dharma has the right to take appropriate action as necessary due to any direct or indirect acts of destruction or disruption of any event or gathering on my (our) behalf. This includes seeking assistance from town authorities as necessary to prevent or resolve any disputes, disruption and damage to the Camp Wamatochick property, tools, instruments, and anyone’s personal property.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Wildlife
Please be aware that Camp Wamatochick is in the heart of Prescott National Forest where wildlife abounds. Occasionally bears and mountain lions have recently been seen close to the camp, so it is highly recommended to walk around in groups of 3 or more simply as a safety precaution.
Land Cleanliness
We are all equally responsible for taking care of this Divine Land. Please take responsibility for the order and cleanliness of the land and respect nature by minimizing waste. Make sure you gather your garbage and dispose of it correctly. If you see garbage lying around, please pick it up and dispose of appropriately. No littering, please.
Volunteers
Helping hands and hearts are always welcome. For those who would like to volunteer in helping around the camp, please bring appropriate clothes/shoes and sign up at the registration desk.
Foot soaking in the creek
Please enjoy collective foot soaking at the creek (braving the extremely cold ice melt from the mountains), however, please use caution if you are foot soaking alone (as this is not recommended). Minors must always be accompanied by adults at the creek (as well as going to and from the creek). Access to the stream is prohibited after sunset until sunrise because of the dangers posed by wild life. Swimming/diving in the stream is not allowed at any time.
Announcements
Please listen to all the announcements that are made by the organizers and respect their requests. All rules or guidelines are made with the benevolence of the collective in mind and with a view of creating a more vibrant Sahaja Sangha.
Registration and Badges
During this Birthday Puja seminar, Yogis are required to register at the desk and collect their badges. For legal and liability purposes, we need to know how many yogis are present at any given time on the land. These numbers may need to be shared with local law enforcement authorities. For both safety and legal purposes, the badge received at registration must be worn visibly at any time. In this way, we can see if non-yogis are walking around our camp and act accordingly.
Meditation/Altar Area
Please refrain from chatting/socializing in the main altar area during and after meditation times and during programs outside of meal times. Please respect all our brothers and sisters who are meditating and those making the effort to perform. Let us behave with the understanding that this is our place of worship and that Shri Mataji and all the deities are there with us. Visiting Camp Wamatochick is a pilgrimage and we should all be grateful for this blessing from Shri Mataji.
All mobile phones in the main meditation area must in silent mode to preserve the attention and holiness of our meditation hall.
Weather & Temperature
Camp Wamatochick is at high elevation and will get cold at night during March. Rain and snow can also be expected from time to time. Please make sure you bring appropriate clothing and bedding with you from home.
Dogs and other animals
Please note that dogs and pets are NOT allowed at Camp Wamatochick.
WIFI Access
Because of the remoteness of the camp, there are only several areas of the camp where WIFI is accessible, which include the Meditation Hall and several of the other buildings. Each of these wifi accessible areas have their own wifi network names and passwords and the current passwords for those WIFIs will be given out at the camp.
Minors
Parents or legal guardians of minors must supervise and monitor their children at all times. They are fully responsible for their children. Children who are caught misbehaving in a way that is deemed offensive or dangerous to the collective will be asked to leave the property with immediate effect.
Valuables
You are responsible for all your belongings. Keep valuables with you at all times. It is very easy to lose or misplace items on the land.
Lost and Found
The lost and found box will be located next to the registration desk. If you find any personal belongings unclaimed, please do bring them to the registration desk inside the Hall.
Parking
Parking is only allowed in the designated areas.
Candles and fires
Candles must not be used in the main meditation hall except by the organizing team members or in any of the cabins. Because of the high risk of wild fire under no circumstances should fire(s) be lit in the camp or in the land except in the fire pit area and no fire or lit candles should be left unattended at any time on the camp ground as all the buildings are of wood construction and wild fires are a very real threat to the Camp.
Please respect our neighbors
Please maintain silence in the sleeping huts, sleeping tents and surrounding areas after dark. Please do not cross over into neighbor’s lands (outside the fence) as this may lead to trespassing of private property charges.
Please respect Mother Earth
The way we show respect to Mother Earth in our collective gatherings will improve the environmental situation globally. Please be conscious of your actions towards Mother Earth at all times:
1) Please bring and carry refillable water bottles with you to Camp Wamatochick to avoid using or disposing of paper cups or plastic water bottles unnecessarily;
2) Please use recycle bins for all plastic, paper, cardboard and glass;
3) Please use water in showers consciously (which will not only save water, which has to be hauled in) but also it will save a lot of time in line for your brothers and sisters);
4) Dirty diapers can cause very unpleasant odors if left in bins inside cabins or bathrooms, so please dispose of all dirty diapers in the outside bins located near the main hall.
Please remember that SAFETY is EVERYONE’S responsibility. If you notice anything that doesn’t look right or dharmic, please immediately inform the registration desk. We wish you a blissful stay at Camp Wamatochick in beautiful Arizona. Jai Shri Mataji.
By attending this event at Camp Wamatochick, you are agreeing to follow these general guidelines set by Vishwa Nirmala Dharma.
